Don't X-Out Transit!
ATU International and APTA are, in conjunction with GCRTA, engaged in a campaign of "Don't X-Out Transit" to fight back federal threats to cut transportation funding. Our plan is to get the message out to our members and public of how vital transit funding is by marking busses and trains with a red "X" so people can see how much service could be lost if Congress approves a pending bill to cut 30% of transit funding. Join us on September 20th at 12:00 noon to send a message to Congress about the importance of this funding! Transit systems across the nation will be publicizing this important issue to fight the threatened cuts. We need to do our part to ensure this concerted national effort receives the attention it deserves and to protect our jobs.
