Pittsburgh Campaign for a Mass Party of Labor
Launch Meeting
October 23rd, 2010
Time: Saturday, October 23 · 2:00pm - 4:00pm
Location: Panera Bread, Oakland (3800 Forbes Ave, Pittsburgh, PA)
The bosses have two parties of their own. It's high time we working people did, too!
In a union town like Pittsburgh, there is no reason why we should keep electing the Democrats, a corporate party with corporate interests.
Come and join the Campaign for a Mass Party of Labor, a nation-wide campaign to push for the idea of a party for the working class, in our workplaces, unions, schools and neighborhoods!
The speakers at the event will include Karl Belin and Andrew Wagner of the Workers International League, Derrick Watson (shop steward for UFCW Local 23 and WIL member) and YOU. That's right, you. If we are ever going to break away from the corporate parties, we need to start sharing ideas.
We'll see you there!
