For those of you who would like to participate in helping to plan the Prison Emergency Summit, there will be a planning meeting at the Black Studies Department at CSU on Friday, 1/28/11 at 5:00 pm. That office is in the Main Classroom Bldg. at 22nd and Euclid, on the first floor, across from the auditorium we have been assigned for the Feb. 26 conference itself, which is #MC137. We'll take a look at that and assess how to make the conference work best. We will also be able to use some space in the Black Studies Dept. for break out discussions during the conference.
Please call the phone # for the New Black Panther Party - Cleveland (Abdul Qahhar, Chairman) with questions, suggestions or just to stay in touch: 216-925-9108. Brother Qahhar is a long-time member of the Lucasville Uprising Freedom Network, a visitor of some of the Lucasville uprising prisoners, and a key leader in the recent successful campaign to win changes in the conditions of confinement for the four death-sentenced Lucasville uprising prisoners at Ohio State Penitentiary.
