"There'll always be an England" (for some) department

Marxist Update Editor's note: Lord Archer is facing a bit of a sticky wicket and hopes for reinforcements at the Pavilion end...JR

No hawkers or peddlers

I have been an art collector all my life, and have reached the stage where some of my pictures are either in storage, or simply not hanging in my home, which at my age doesn't make a lot of sense. One particular painting, Portrait de Madame Bloch et ses enfants (Madame Jean Bloch and her children), by Edouard Vuillard is so large that I actually no longer have a wall available I can hang it on.

Both in size (192.5 x 179.5 cms) and quality it's a museum piece, and has been on display in various exhibitions around the world, so I've decided the time has come to sell it, so that others in the next generation of art enthusiasts can enjoy it for years to come. Sotheby's has estimated it to be worth between US$750,000 and $1m, so if anyone out there is interested, please let me know....no hawkers or peddlers.
