IBNA: "Philosophy in Our time is converted into Persian by Foad Habibi and Kamal Khaleq-panah.

Habibi regarded Zizek and Badiou as two critical theorists who criticize current capitalism with similar viewpoints.

He added: "Their articles in this volume revolve over the function of philosophy. They believe that accordign to the classics, philosophy should ponder over fundamental issues and distance itself from everyday life. Badiou and Zizek challenge this classical view by focusing on a special political philosophy that tends to transform everyday life. According to Badiou, philosophy is possible only when an event is taking place, otherwise philosophy has nothing to tell about trivial matters of daily life."

Referring to the concept of 'immediate thinkers', Habibi said: "Badiou and Zizek call those thinkers that comment upon any event in the media and on the television as 'immediate thinkers' and criticize them. According to them, a philosophy id formed when a new event has taken place. In fact, it is wrong to think that a philosopher should comment on every happening.

"Philosophy in Our Time" is converted into Persian by Foad Habibi and Kamal Khaleq-panah and will be released in 90 pages by Roozbehan Publications.
